Velzson Davidson
Board Member - Secretary
Velzson Davidson serves as Secretary of Warriors and Caregivers United, where he supports organizational governance, strategic coordination, and mission-driven initiatives focused on improving the lives of veterans, service members, and their caregivers. He brings a strong background in healthcare operations, public health, and community advocacy, shaped by both professional experience and lived service.
Velzson is a former Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy Reserve, where he served honorably for eight years. During his military service, he experienced the profound personal impact of losing three fellow service members to suicide. These losses deeply shaped his commitment to mental health advocacy and made him an outspoken voice for suicide prevention, stigma reduction, and access to behavioral health support within military and veteran communities.
Professionally, Velzson has worked across healthcare systems, disability service agencies, and community-based organizations, contributing to operational improvement, compliance, and care coordination. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Health Services and a Master of Public Health, with a focus on population health, health equity, and systems-level solutions.
Through his work with Warriors and Caregivers United, Velzson is dedicated to honoring those lost by transforming grief into action—advocating for policies, programs, and partnerships that strengthen mental health resources and ensure caregivers and warriors are never left to navigate challenges alone.
