2017 Annual Motorcycle Fundraiser in Ann Arbor, MI
Motorcycle ride WACU fundraiser was held on Saturday, May 13, 2017. It was the first annual, organized by a friend of WACU. It began at Old St. Patrick’s Parish on Whitmore Lake Road about three miles north of Ann Arbor. After great donuts and coffee provided by the Parish, Father Tom Blessed all the bikes and they were off. The route took them all over the beautiful countryside in the Pinckney and Dexter area. The two hour ride ended up at the Saline American Legion where hot dogs, burgers and soft drinks were served to all the riders. Then inside the Legion was a nice raffle with most everyone winning a nice donated item. We thank Steve Polgar, the organizer, and all the riders for recognizing WACU and supporting us. We learned much from this event and the 2nd Annual ride promises to be even more successful.
