Warriors and Caregivers United in supporting, connecting, and helping one another.
Our Mission:
Embrace Warriors and Caregivers in a nonjudgmental, safe, and unassuming environment.
Develop acceptance of existing resources and systems to educate and promote utilization.
Assist children in understanding the effects of PTSD on their loved ones.
Encourage and support development of new and old relationships.
Provide venues for the gathering of the WACU community.

HIGHLIGHTS
Donuts with our Veterans
WACU partners with Walking with Warriors- Veteran Navigator, Matthew Clark to host a monthly gathering for Veterans in the Edenville Township area and surrounding areas. Sanford American Legion the Second Thursday of each month 9am- 12pm, for this special time for Veterans to gather and create a community of support for one another.
Building homes
for Our Heroes
With help from Veteran organizations in the Ann Arbor area WACU assisted Building homes for our heroes in finding a disabled Air Force Veteran and his family receive a mortgage free home.
A huge Thank you to VCAT9, Fisher House of Michigan and the Ann Arbor American Legion for stepping up BIG!
Michigan Attorney General Visits Kent County Veterans Court
On May 12, 2023 Dana Nessel, MI AG, visited Kent County Veterans Court to recognize them for having the lowest recidivism rate in the State at only 8%.
