September 12 @9am-4pm at the Ann Arbor VFW post 423-3230 S Wagner Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48103

As part of our mission to connect with Veterans and their families during these difficult times, we are working with veteran organization in the south region of Michigan and Operation Gratitude to assemble and deliver 1,000 care packages to give to Veterans and their Families in Monroe, Livingston, Lenawee, Washtenaw counties and surrounding areas. Our goal is to deliver all 1,000 care packages by Veterans Day 2020. This event will take place outside under a large tent to provide social distancing and gathering requirements, PPE and hand sanitizer will be provided to those that may need it. We have included an online sign up sheet with specific time slots for volunteers to sign up at to limit the amount of people working at one time. There will be a lunch break from 12-1 (food will be provided) that will allow volunteers to make a natural shift. Any organizations that would like to request their own sign up for volunteers please Email Stephanie@WACU.org  and I will create one for you!
